SNSD fans can stand tall, as netizens are applauding them for their kind hearts once more.
On February 15th, their fan cafe president announced, “We collected 107 blood donations and submitted our donation documents to the Korea Leukemia Exchange under member Sooyoung’s name.”
Through this good deed, they got to partner with other fan cafes as well. One donor-fan revealed, “I’m happy I got to do this again after doing it last year. I hope my contribution helps.”
SNSD fans carried out this same process last year and wowed their idols, so they decided to work hard and go for a second round. Let’s give it up for these compassionate and dedicated fans!

雖然南韓很多私生飯,但最近粉絲也越來越理性囉!知道與其買昂貴的禮物倒不如作公益偶像反而更開心,也有更多需要的人獲得幫助!最近Sone透過秀英的名義募集了107位粉絲捐血給白血病的患者,這些Sone表示我們很開心可以再度作這件有意義的事情!希望我們這些舉動可以幫助到需要的人!!

An 8-year-old Japanese girl named Cuca has been making waves for a while now on YouTube by posting videos of her dancing and singing to a variety of artists.
I personally just discovered her through the tip that was sent in by Yasashiku, and the tip included a link to Cuca’s cover of SNSD’s “Genie“, which was released today.

在3日播放的SBS TV《明星做什麼呢?》中,公開了明星喜歡吃的食物,還發佈了最想一起進餐的藝人名次。當天的節目中還採訪了負責少女時代體重的教練金智勳,公開了少女時 代的菜單。金智勳表示:「少女時代節食減肥時一天菜單的卡路裡量為1500,應季青菜與西蘭花五塊、烤雞胸肉100克、秈米飯150克。」他還說道:「少 女時代有重要行程時減肥的決心很令人驚嘆,不過平時她們也喜歡吃零食。」此外,節目還揭露FT Island吃過牛舌、U-KISS吃過鹿唇、Miss A吃過蛇,受到了人們的關注。

During the SBS Lunar New Year special, “Star, What Are You Doing?”, SNSD’s trainer (Kim Ji Hoon) revealed some details about their diets.
Before an important broadcast or a concert, the girls eat about 1500 calories,” he explained. “They would usually eat seasonal vegetables, 5 heads of broccoli, 100 grams of baked chicken breast, 150 grams of brown rice.”
When asked about their regular diet, the trainer replied, “Because they like snacks and junk food, they usually eat very well.”
Looks like SNSD got an increase in calories from their 1200 calorie diet. Small wonder that their figures draw so much attention – that diet would require a lot of self-control!

A uniform ad from almost six year ago has been gaining much attention due to its feature of TVXQ’s Yunho and SNSD’s Seohyun.
The poster was released back in 2005, and it was put up in the entrance halls of some schools. At the time, Yunho had already debuted as part of TVXQ, but Seohyun was just a middle school trainee.
Fans of both idols gushed over their baby faces, and laughed at Yunho’s spiky haircut. Meanwhile, netizens commented, “Seohyun was pretty even before she debuted”, “Totally fresh uniform couple”, and “Mr. Handsome and Miss Beautiful – constant like a storm.”

It has been reported that SNSD will release their new Japanese single, ‘Oh!’ this year on the 2nd of February!
While the Korean version of Oh! completely dominated K-Pop this year in 2010, there are already high expectations for the Japanese release!

The newest poll on “NTT docomo – Mina no Koe“, goo’s mobile ranking service, asked about the most beautiful girl group, active and disbanded.
The South Korean group “Shoujo Jidai” (SNSD) was able to snatch away the first place, just above fellow South Korean group “KARA“.
Idol group “AKB48” got away with third place and the title of being the most beautiful Japanese girl group, but with more than 1,000 votes less than Shoujo Jida, it is pretty obvious that South Korean girl groups seem to be considered much more beautiful than their Japanese counterparts, at least according to this poll.

根據日本科技部落格Asiajin的報導,日本最大的電信業者 NTT Docomo在4/30日將其手機裡iMode選單裡,原本預設為Google搜尋引擎,改為以Goo這個同為NTT集團所擁有網路搜尋引擎,也是日本自製國產,且歷史悠久的網站;NTT Docomo不僅占有日本手機使用者數的5成以上,其提供的手機上網服務iMode也順勢占有5成以上的市場份額。
在原本的iMode選單裡,原本的搜尋結果分有三塊,分別由Goo與google分別提供,現在則是完全由Goo提供,在這個以Alexa為基礎的日本網站排行榜中,您可以看到goo大約是名列日本網站的第11名,不過由於Alexa並未對日本這個特殊的以手機上網為主的國家,有做出特別的監測方式,所以這個排行榜僅供參考。
最有趣的其實是,當手機預設搜尋引擎在4/30時被切換至Goo,但在當日的晚上11:40,NTT提出道歉聲明,並宣佈回溯到原本的Google設定,根據Asiajin的Akimoto猜測,很可能是因為準備不充份,且面臨巨大流量,而造成不得不停止此一作業的窘境,也可能因為時間適逢日本的黃金週開始,工程人力早就已經放大假去了;歷史不斷的告訴我們,千萬不要在假期前做任何的網站更動,否則只是為自己多找麻煩而已。
也許NTT終於跟以前的美國Yahoo!意識到了,搜尋引擎將是自身的一個重要資產,尤其是在其擁有壟斷的電信地位底下,將這個功能從Google的手中收回,並試圖讓自己的服務接替Google,也可能只是單純的續約價格談不攏所順勢做出的決定,但總而言之,NTT實際的策略仍舊不明朗。對Google來講,其與NTT合作的兩年期間,已經成功的讓自己的品牌打入日本手機使用者中,但在喪失這個重要伙伴之後,Google後續在日本的移動上網策略,將相當值得觀察。

少女時代代言英特爾 代言新歌新MV受期待 소녀시대, 인텔 아시아 모델 발탁

10日,少女時代與最大半導體公司英特爾一起,以韓國和全亞洲為消費者為對象,舉行了多種多樣的宣傳活動。
這次活動是紀念英特爾新品問世,少女時代精幹的形象與新品的特性相融合,無疑增大了人們對新品的期待值。活動中,少女時代參加了韓國還有亞洲各地區 的多種多樣的營銷活動,韓國和亞洲消費者可以透過音樂,2D,3DMV,網站,照片,PC賣場的宣傳等多樣活動見到少女時代。英特爾和少女時代共同製作的 MV預計將於17日公開。
少女時代表示:「這次的歌能讓粉絲能特別容易跟唱,MV也拍得很贊。這次的英特爾之歌非常有趣,會讓人們在想起英特爾的時候就會想起這首歌。」SM 娛樂公司表示:「這次和英特爾合作特別愉快,也期待這次的新音樂和新MV會成為給PC消費者,當然還有韓國以及全亞洲少女時代粉絲的一份大禮。」與英特爾 合作的少女時代新曲,將在1月18日英特爾新產品發表會上由少女時代現場演唱。





SM Entertainment announces plans for Intel and SNSD partnership

Following the press report released yesterday, SM Entertainment has followed up with an official announcement regarding SNSD being the endorsement models for Intel Asia.
On January 10th, representatives of SM Entertainment revealed, “Starting from the 10th, SNSD and Intel will be starting a variety of campaigns for Asian consumers. Intel’s new product, the ‘Second Generation Intel Core Processor Family,’ will feature SNSD’s urban and impressive visuals to help market the product’s characteristics.”
SNSD will be joining Intel in marketing the product not only in Korea, but all over Asia as well. Consumers will be able see SNSD through new music, 2D and 3D music videos, internet sites, photos, and PC store displays. The music video produced by Intel and SNSD will be released on January 17th.
SNSD stated, “The music to be released is an easy-going track that anyone can follow along with. The music video will be very ‘SNSD’ in style. The music production with Intel was very fun. We even sang the famous Intel sound, ‘Bong!’, ourselves.
Although SNSD recorded the sound logo for Intel, whether or not it will be used is still in discussion. Intel Korea’s Han In Su commented, “It is true that SNSD recorded the sound logo, but from a marketing standpoint, we’re still deciding whether to use it as a marketing tool, or insert it in actual advertisements.”
CEO Kim Young Min of SM Entertainment further commented, “We’re glad to be able to work with such an internationally known brand. We’re looking forward to presenting Asian fans with SNSD’s new music and music videos.”
Intel Korea’s Lee Hee Sung concluded, “Our consumer campaign for our second generation Intel Core product will feature SNSD’s cute and modern visuals. We’re introducing our products in a variety of fun and exciting ways for our consumers.”
SNSD and Intel’s new music video will be released on January 17th, followed by the song on the 18th at the Intel production conference.
