After School releases version 2 of & ‘Play Ur Love’ MV

 

Last month, After School released a music video for “Play Ur Love“ featuring Kahi, Raina, Nana, and JungAh. Recently, the group released a second version of the music video, which seems to have confused some fans.
Some of you may watch it and think, “This looks just like the first version“. But if you watch carefully, you will see that the scenes with the “boyfriend” have been removed, and the order for a handful of scenes have been changed.

“J-pop queen Namie Amuro has been teasing her fans with the release of two mini teasers; now, the official teaser video for Namie Amuro’s collaboration track with After School has finally been revealed! new song, “Make It Happen” featuring After School has finally been released.
Titled “Make It Happen“, the track will be included in Namie’s new album “Checkmate” next month. It boasts the participation of other J-pop names AI, CHEMISTRY’s Kanabe, Yamashita Tomohisa, and many more.
But it’s Namie Amuro’s collaboration with After School that’s been gaining much attention in Korea, since it’ll be After School’s first Japanese music effort.
Representatives of Pledis Entertainment commented, “Namie Amuro’s representatives have taken a high interest in After School for some time now, and offered this collaboration opportunity. After School participated in utter secrecy in Japan, and completed their music video recording. ‘Make It Happen‘ is an addictive pop track that aims to entice listeners into a world of dreams.”

After numerous delays, After School’s Kahi is finally ready to embark on her solo mini-album promotions!
A music video teaser for her debut track, “Come Back, You Bad Person” has just been unveiled, and Kahi is seen rocking two different looks: innocent and elegant, as well as fierce and edgy.
Judging by how the MV plays with contrasts of light and dark, we’re probably going to be looking at a story of ‘before and after’.

On January 9th, After School entered Incheon Airport to take off for Taiwan. Instead of coming in pajamas or comfortable clothes, they all stepped in sporting the hottest fashion items.
Although Juyeon, Becca, and Leeyoung were missing from the group, fans gushed over the six members’ semi-coordinated outfits, since they all wore something black.
Kahi and UEE sported sexy high leather boots and some tight leggings. They wore similar things, really, but their individual style brought a different feeling to each outfit; Kahi’s was more edgy, and UEE kept it lax.
The others sported very nice outfits as well, as Lizzy wore studded leggings, Nana wore a nice brown jacket, and Raina strutted down in some shades.
The members all looked like they were in a good mood. Cheerfully, they said goodbye to their fans and to the press before taking off.

After School’s Lizzy made a surprising confession while on ”Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate“ recently.
Lizzy revealed, “I’m not confident in my looks. After School’s members are all too pretty. I am confident in my aegyo.”
The girl group member explained she uses aegyo to make up for her ‘lacking looks’. Considering her experience, she gave some tips for the ladies out there. “Your facial expression and hand motions have to be lively,” she explained. She also opened her eyes wide and yelled, “Oppa!”
Kahi tried to show off some aegyo as well, but could not match Lizzy’s energetic act.

After School’s Noh Lee Young draws attention with official photo & musical prowess

When it was announced that After School would be adding a new member to its ranks for its impending comeback, many kpop fans were reluctant to accept a yet another addition to the originally five-member girl group. After making her debut through After School’s year-end stage at the MBC Gayo Daejun however, ninth member Noh Lee Young silenced any doubts about her talent with an impressive electric guitar performance.
Although the performance showcased her musical skills, it wasn’t long enough for fans to catch a close-up glimpse of her face. Today, Pledis Entertainment has given the public its first look at Lee Young with the release of her first official photo. On top of praising Lee Young for exuding an innocent charm, fans have been delighted to discover that Noh Lee Young is not only skilled in the electric guitar but also five other instruments, including the drums and piano.
After Kahi’s solo debut in February, Lee Young will be joining After School as the ninth member in their group comeback this March.

Earlier in the month, the pretty girls of After School 没有sans Bekah, who spent some vacation time back in her native Hawaii, released their album “Happy Pledis 1st Album.” The girls recently spent some time with Korean portal Telzone to 進行簡短的專訪conduct a brief interview along with a full photo shoot.

Raina and Nana revealed that they like to watch the drama “Secret Garden” during their spare time.
Nana revealed that she’s currently learning Japanese. She has watched the Japanese drama, “1 litre of tears”.
Jooyeon revealed that Bekah is good at cooking.
Raina thinks she’s prettiest if when she has her make up on.

Raina[R] : The Happy Pledis Album has a “Save Children” concept. We save the deprived children. Here we donate some of album sales. Also, I do my best to write lyrics.
Q: Is there any other member that also write the lyrics for this album?
R: Yeah, Kahi unnie wrote the song, “Someone Is You”
Kahi [K] : Yes, I am the one that wrote the song
Q: jooyeon-ssi you have been cast in a drama, are you feeling tired being an acctress?
Jooyeon[JY]: I felt a bit tired at first. I thought it wouldnt be as tiring. This is something new that I can show another side of me and that’s good. But i would say, I feel happy because of acting.
Q: When seeing Orange Caramel, Did you guys think you can do as good as them? Unnie-deul (to the older members)
