原名為「AKB48第22張單曲選拔總選舉」的第3屆AKB48人氣總選，今日在東京武道館舉行，大會剛宣佈前田敦子成為冠軍，大島優子亞軍。
排第19位的橫山由衣在台上狂哭，排17位的秋元才加則在台上為去年被偷拍到搭上阿叔創作人而道歉，並多謝fans的支持。排第12位的高城亞樹因腳傷要人扶上台，頗為論盡。
總選在當地有86間戲院近100個大銀幕進行直播，港台韓三地也全程直播，香港方面就有MCL德福戲院、MCL JP銅鑼灣戲院和MCL康怡戲院。

A couple weeks ago, preliminary results for AKB48’s 3rd Senbatsu General Election were revealed, but those totals will likely have little bearing on what’s about to transpire today, as the final tallies will finally be announced!
Who would you have voted for or who did you vote for?

Voting started for this election on May 24th and they just ended yesterday on June 8th. The election itself encompasses AKB48 members and research students (70 total), SKE48 members (57 total), and NMB48 members (25 total), for a total of 152 people in all.
The members elected to the top 21 spots will be featured in AKB48’s 22nd single, while 22~40 place will form a unit called “Undergirls” and sing the B-side track.

AKB48 reaches #1 on the United World Chart!

Selling 1,333,969 copies of “Everyday, Kachuusha” in their first week, it’s no surprise that AKB48 would dominate on the United World Chart as well. The United World Chart ranks the most popular tracks according to “global paid downloads, single-sales and airplay”.
In week 23 of 2011, AKB48 has come in at #1, above popular artists such as Pitbull, Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Bruno Mars.
But it doesn’t stop there! “Everyday, Kachuusha” is also on one of the “top achievement charts” for “tracks with most points in a week (since 1999)”. This isn’t their first time on this chart though, as AKB48’s previous single – “Sakura no Ki ni Narou” – ranked at #3,right below Lady GaGa’s “Born This Way”.

AKB48 dominates Oricon’s half-year photobook ranking

Oricon has released its half-year photo book ranking for the year of 2011, proving AKB48’s huge popularity once again.
Coming in first place on the photo book chart with over 113,000 units sold is “AKB 1/48 Idol to Koi Shitara… Koushiki Kouryaku Visual Book“, which also topped the charts in the last half-year ranking for photobooks. “AKB48 Yusatsu THE BLUE ALBUM” (109,000) and “AKB48 Yusatsu THE RED ALBUM” (108,000) came in second and third place respectively, solidly placing AKB48 in the top three spots.
Additionally, Watanabe Mayu’s photo book “Mayuyu” claimed the sixth place position with 59,000 units sold, followed by Kojima Haruna’s photobook “Onna no Ko no Kami-Sama” in eighth place (46,000).

AKB門票詐騙 少年被捕

 

日本女子組合 AKB48的門票向來渴市，日本警視廳大崎警署前日稱一名橫濱 16歲男生，訛稱擁有 AKB演出門票的交換券，以 2.7萬日圓（約 2,570港元）售予另一名大學生，但買家付錢後沒票拿結果報警，據知迄今約有 10人中招。
此外， AKB成員前田敦子（圖）下月的單飛處女單曲《 Flower》會有 3個不同版本的封面，大晒純真，至於人氣一姐大島優子則對能否在總選冧莊表示「機會一半半」。

Four-member AKB48 sub-unit Not yet has just unveiled new information on their upcoming debut single, “Shuumatsu Not yet”!
The single will come in three versions when it hits stores on March 16th: ‘Type A’ (CD+DVD), ‘Type B’ (CD+DVD), and ‘Type C’ (CD+Photobook). Each edition of “Shuumatsu Not yet” will feature its own exclusive B-side, and both DVDs will contain different content. The photobook included with Type C is a collectible, 32-page lyric book.
Not Yet will also be distributing four versions of the song “Shuumatsu Not yet” as ringtones on Recochoku beginning on February 14th, which is a special Valentine’s Day present for eager fans. For one day only, each version of the ringtone will be associated with a different member, who will then send a picture signed with a handwritten Valentine’s Day message to those who purchase their respective versions of the ringtone. The following day, three more ringtones will be added for a total of seven versions.
